Asana for Android Keeps You Up to Date on Your Projects on the Go

Asana for Android Keeps You Up to Date on Your Projects on the Go Android: Project management and to-do organizer Asana is great for people with multiple projects or who work with others on their to-dos at home or at work. Now the service has unveiled its official Android app that gives you total control over your projects and to-dos, right from your smartphone.

Asana is free, and works just as well with groups at the office as it does with family members organizing a reunion or outing. It's also a great tool just to keep your own to-dos in check. Asana for Android brings the features of the webapp to a smaller screen: You can add, complete, edit, and assign/reassign to-dos, change due dates, add notes, edit recurring to-dos, and more. If you use multiple workspaces?one for your personal to-dos and one for everyone at work, for example?you can search to find items quickly without having to dig for them. You can even comment on your to-dos so everyone else can see.

We mentioned Asana's iOS app when it launched a while back, and back then a common complaint was that the mobile apps were just app-ified version of the mobile page. The iOS app and the Android app are much more robust now, so if you've been waiting for them or left Asana behind because its mobile apps weren't up to snuff (or have been using the unofficial MyAsana app for Android, it might be time for a second look. Asana is completely free for personal use and teams of up to 30 users.

Tribute to David Jaskoski

I was a senior in high school in Tucson, Arizona when I learned that one of the most intelligent, creative, guys in my class had shot and killed himself. The whole senior class was shocked and devastated. This was a class of about 200 seniors in 1974.

I felt that if there had not been a gun at the home of my classmate he would not have had easy access to it and may have looked for some other solution than suicide.

He might have asked for help instead of getting the gun that was in the home.

Baseball fan can sue: Jury will decide risk of watching ball

An injured baseball fan can sue for damages, ruled the Idaho Supreme Court today. The fan lost an eye after being hit in the face with a foul ball at a minor league game.

The Idaho Supreme Court decided not to impose the "Baseball?Rule" of liability in the lawsuit brought by Bud Rountree, instead choosing to let a jury decide if watching?baseball?is an inherently dangerous activity done at the spectator's own risk. Rountree was struck by a ball while watching the Boise Hawks, a Chicago Cubs farm team.

Loyola Law Sports Institute Director Daniel Lazaroff said the decision was a rare strikeout for the?Baseball Rule, which has been adopted by courts in Massachusetts, New York, Michigan and elsewhere. But he said the Idaho court made the right call in finding the legislature should decide if stadium owners deserve special legal protections.

The rule has several iterations, but basically holds that stadium owners can't be held liable if?fans?are injured by thrown or batted balls. Frequently, ticket stubs to sporting events will be printed with a disclaimer saying the holder assumes all risks associated with ball-related injuries, as was the case in the Idaho lawsuit.

"The trend in other courts has been contrary to this Idaho case," Lazaroff said.

Lazaroff said similar lawsuits are likely to arise in the wake of Sunday's NASCAR crash at Daytona International Speedway. The crash left at least 33 spectators injured when a car flew into a fence, hurling a tire and debris into the stands.

"There are lawyers who have said the ticket-stub disclaimer will be sufficient but I have my doubts. It's not like you're signing on the dotted line that you've read the ticket," Lazaroff said.

Rountree was injured while attending a Boise Hawks game with his wife and grandkids on Aug. 13, 2008. Rountree left his seat in the mesh-netting protected section of the stadium and was talking to someone in an area not protected by netting when he heard the crowd begin to roar. That's when Rountree turned toward the field and was struck in the face with a foul ball, according to the ruling, and the resulting injury caused him to lose an eye.

Rountree sued the Boise Hawks, the stadium owner and others, alleging their negligence was to blame for his injury.

John Nockleby, a professor and director of the civil law program at Loyola Law School, said thrown or batted ball injuries are freak accidents but not necessarily uncommon issues in the courts.

"Do you want to impose the costs of these kinds of events on a member of the crowd, or do you want to say that the?baseball?stadium owner should take charge of the cost by putting up netting or insuring against damages?" Nockleby said. "One side says, 'We want to keep people close to the action ... the other side says, 'It's a randomly hit ball and a lot of the time people don't know how serious the risk of injury is.'"

Lawmakers in some states, including California and New Jersey, created laws specifically to shield stadium owners from being held liable for injuries. But Idaho lawmakers have never created such a rule, and the state's court rulings on other kinds of liability cases have found that companies can't get blanket protection from liability simply by printing a disclaimer.

The unanimous Idaho Supreme Court last week said justices had the power to adopt the?Baseball?Rule, but they declined to do so.

Baseball?spectator injuries are rare in Idaho, Justice Jim Jones wrote on behalf of the full court, and there doesn't seem to be a compelling public policy reason for judges to step in.

Rountree's attorney, W. Breck Seiniger of Boise, said he was pleased by the ruling, especially given that stadiums today are multi-use facilities with concession stands and other facilities that encourage spectators to turn their backs on the fields.

Joshua Evett, the attorney for the Boise Hawks and other defendants, did not immediately return a phone call requesting comment.

This Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 photo shows the Carson City, Nev. home of Walter Samaszko Jr. A crew sent to clean out Samaszko's house found more than $7.4 million worth of gold coins, bars and bullion left behind in the garage after his death in June. About 135 pounds (61 kilograms) of Walter Samaszko Jr.'s gold coins will be auctioned off in 11 lots Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, in a courtroom to pay government taxes and fees. Carson City Clerk Recorder Alan Glover says the auction will only include about half of the trove left behind when the reclusive man died in his modest Carson City home last year. An exhaustive search identified California substitute teacher Arlene Magdanz as Samaszko's first cousin and sole heir to the fortune that was decades in the making. (AP Photo/Scott Sonner)

(AP) ? The tale of a mysterious Nevada recluse's gold reached a new chapter Tuesday when a portion of the trove raked in more than $3.5 million at auction.

It was the allure of mystery that pulled some bidders to the courtroom, but for others, it was the sheer value of a collection unknown to the public before Walter Samaszko Jr. was found dead in his modest ranch-style home last year.

Regardless of motivation, those who converged on the auction could sense the immense value of the treasure upon arriving.

There were numerous guards at the entrance, then more in the hallway outside the courtroom, and finally several with bullet proof vests and others with helmets inside the room holding the gold.

Five bidders diligently inspected the 11 lots of gold displayed in plastic sleeves, tubes and felt jewelry display boxes heavily guarded room before the bidding wars began.

By the time all sales were final, however, one bidder had secured nine of the 11 lots for sale.

Carson City's Alan Rowe of Northern Nevada Coin spent $617,000 from his own company, and another $2 million on behalf of the Illinois-based Rare Coin Company of America Inc. It was the uniqueness of the gold that drove his bidding, he said.

"Every one of us has a little hoarder nature in our culture and we all like to have things, but to this degree is quite a story," Rowe told reporters after the auction, adding that the metal value "is not as exciting as the story itself, there's actually value to the story."

He added that some of the coins will be available in the store or online for locals hoping to snag a piece of history. Others, he said, will be marketed nationally and likely on television.

This auction was only for the bullion coins ? items that are not necessarily rare, just expensive because they are made of gold. There will likely be a second auction for the larger portion of the collection which is comprised of the rare coins, said Alan Glover, the public administrator for Samaszko's estate.

"They're buying and bidding on an ounce of gold, pure gold by the weight," Glover said.

In total, about 150 pounds of gold was sold at Tuesday's auction. About $800,000 will pay various fees and estate taxes, and the rest of the profits go to a substitute teacher in San Rafael, Calif., who is the first cousin and sole heir to the trove of Walter Samaszko Jr.

Because of the other coins' rarity, that sale is expected to net higher profits.

James Mitchell of Reno's Silver State Coin and a California-based group named Spectrum Group International Inc. grabbed the two lots not purchased by Rowe or his partners.

Mitchell landed the lot of 4,600 Mexican dos pesos, the largest number of coins in a single lot. He said the story posed no additional value to him.

"It had the most potential for profit," Mitchell said of his purchase. "There was one lot I wanted more, but this one will have to do."

That lot, a collection of 620 Canadian Maple Leafs, was the largest in terms of weight and the coins were the purest gold available. It fetched $1.16 million from Rowe and the Rare Coin Company of America.

No one knows exactly when the collection began, or why Samaszko never sold it. Frankly, no one knew anything about him even though he lived in the same neighborhood for decades. Weeks passed before authorities even discovered he had died in his modest Carson City home. A coroner said he died of heart problems.

When cleanup crews arrived, they made the startling discovery of the 69-year-old man's vast collection of thousands of gold coins worth millions of dollars stashed in old ammunition boxes in his garage.

Officials discovered the trove neatly wrapped and stored mostly in ammunition boxes stacked on top of each other. There were more than 2,900 Austrian coins, many from 1915; more than 5,000 from Mexico; at least 500 from Britain; 300 U.S. gold pieces, some dating to 1880; and more than 100 U.S. gold pieces as old as the 1890s.

Among the coins were meticulous records of the purchases dating back to at least 1964, when gold averaged about $35 per ounce. The precious metal currently sells for more than $1,600 an ounce.

Authorities believe that his mother, who lived with Samaszko until her death in 1992, purchased most of the coins.

Despite the millions of dollars in his garage, Samaszko didn't appear to lead a luxurious life. Records show he only withdrew about $500 a month to pay modest bills. He died with $1,200 in a checking account and just a bit more than $165,000 in a money market and mutual fund account.

Since learning of her inheritance, Magdanz has shunned publicity and not made any comments about the fortune.

The Yeshiva World Report: Bibi Looking at a Coalition Without the ...

A Likud official is quoted as saying Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is preparing to build a coalition, one that does not include the chareidi parties. Yediot Achronot quotes the senior official saying ?If the prime minister feels he is up against the wall, he will build a coalition that does not include the chareidim.?

Yediot reports that Likud officials still prefer teaming up with the chareidim, but with the reality that Mr. Netanyahu cannot break up the Lapid Bennett team, it is becoming increasingly apparent that he will have to build a coalition that excludes Shas and Yahadut Hatorah towards bringing in Yesh Atid, Bayit Yehudi and Kadima, with a combined 33 seats.

Not all Likud officials are pleased with Mr. Netanyahu?s willingness to exclude Bennett from a coalition and go with the chareidim, for they feel Bennett and his right-wing party belong in the coalition. They feel the prime minister?s bias stems from the personal issues that have occurred in the past between Bennett and the prime minister, or more accurately, between Bennett and Mrs. Sara Netanyahu.

Most agree that if he can go with Bennett, Lapid and Mofaz, the prime minister would prefer to try his luck with that coalition rather than inform the president he requires the two-week extension in the hope of formulating a government, an embarrassing situation for a seasoned politicians like the prime minister. Painting a contradictory picture, some Likud officials are signaling the prime minister will not acquiesce to the Yesh Atid/Bennett coalition and if compelled to do so, he will head to elections again, optimistic Likud will gain seats.

Pentax MX-1

The Pentax MX-1 ($499.95 direct) is the company's first attempt at a compact digital camera with a larger-than-average image sensor. The 12-megapixel shooter packs a 1/1.7-inch BSI-CMOS sensor, but its exterior is what turned heads when it was announced at CES. Available in silver or black, it simply exudes style. The top and bottom plates are painted brass, and the paint will wear over time to develop a patina that classic camera lovers will appreciate. When it comes to performance, The MX-1 doesn't come close to ousting our current high-end compact Editors' Choice, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 from its perch, but its rating would likely improve if a firmware update is able to alleviate some of its quirks.

Design and Features
The MX-1's design is reminiscent of its namesake, the Pentax MX, a 35mm SLR that was the company's flagship camera in the late 1970s. The MX-1 is much smaller than an SLR, it measures about 2.4 by 4.8 by 2 inches and weighs 13.8 ounces. It's not too far off in size from the 12.2-ounce Olympus XZ-2, which measures 2.6 by 4.4 by 1.9 inches. Both cameras feature a 4x (28-112mm f/1.8-2.5 equivalent) lens, but the Olympus features a hot shoe that can accommodate an external flash or electronic viewfinder.

Control layout is one of the MX-1's strong points. You'll find a Mode Dial, EV Compensation Dial, and Movie Record button on the brass top plate, along with the shutter release, zoom control, and Power button. The rear of the camera features a control dial so you can quickly adjust aperture, shutter speed, or other settings. Rear buttons include Exposure Lock, Drive Mode, Focus Mode, Flash control, and ISO control. There's also the Pentax Green Button, which can be used to undo any changes you've made when shooting in Program mode. The Green shooting mode is equivalent to the "smart automatic" modes found on competing cameras.

The sharp, 921k-dot, 3-inch rear display boasts a 3:2 aspect ratio, slightly wider than the 4:3 ratio of the MX-1's image sensor. And the display is hinged so that it can tilt up or down. Nikon's take on this type of camera, the Coolpix P7700 also sports a 921k-dot display, but one with a vari-angle design that lets you swing it out to the side of the camera. One feature that works in the MX-1's favor is the digital level that appears along the top and right side of the display, which checks both horizontal orientation and the camera's yaw forward and back. This makes it possible to get shots where you are plumb with your subject, which be difficult when using an LCD for composition. The level can be turned on or off via the camera's menu system. If it's on, it's always on?even when you minimize the information displayed on the LCD by hitting the rear OK button. There's no optical viewfinder?the only cameras in this class that offer them are the Canon PowerShot G15 and the Fujifilm X20.

While neither is common enough to be an expected feature in this level of camera, Pentax chose not to include GPS or Wi-Fi in the MX-1. If you're looking for a Wi-Fi-enabled camera with a bigger sensor and a fast lens, take a look at the Samsung EX2F, it has one of the better wireless implementations we've tested. The Canon PowerShot S110 also has Wi-Fi, and can add GPS information to your photos when paired with a smartphone. ?The previous-generation PowerShot S100, which can still be found at retail, has a dedicated GPS module, but no Wi-Fi support.

Ikea withdraws meatballs in more than 20 countries

STOCKHOLM (AP) ? Swedish furniture giant Ikea became entangled in Europe's widening meat scandal Monday, forced to withdraw meatballs from stores across Europe amid suspicions that they contained horse meat.

Stores in the U.S. and Canada were not affected, Ikea said.

The company reacted after authorities in the Czech Republic said they had detected horse DNA in tests of 1-kilogram (2.2-pound) packs of frozen meatballs that were labeled as beef and pork. The Czech State Veterinary Administration said it tested two batches of Ikea meatballs and only one of them contained horse meat. It did not say how much.

Meatballs from the same batch had been sent from a Swedish supplier to 12 other European countries ? Slovakia, Hungary, France, Britain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Ireland ? and would be pulled off the shelves in all of them, Ikea said.

Later Monday, the company expanded the withdrawals to stores in 21 European countries and in Hong Kong, Thailand and the Dominican Republic, all of which were getting meatballs from the same Swedish supplier.

Ikea spokeswoman Ylva Magnusson said that included most European countries, but not Russia and Norway, which use local suppliers. Stores in Poland and Switzerland use both local suppliers and the Swedish one, but would now only use locally produced meatballs, she said.

"This is an extraordinary effort to ensure that no one is worried," Magnusson told The Associated Press.

She added that two weeks ago Ikea tested a range of frozen food products, including meatballs, and found no traces of horse meat. The company plans to conduct its own tests to "validate" the Czech results, she said.

Ikea's North America branch said the U.S. stores get their meatballs from a U.S. supplier.

"Based on the results of our mapping, we can confirm that the contents of the meatballs follow the Ikea recipe and contain only beef and pork from animals raised in the U.S. and Canada," Ikea North America spokeswoman Mona Astra Liss said in a statement.

Ikea is known for its assemble-it-yourself furniture but its trademark blue-and-yellow megastores also have cafeteria-style restaurants offering Swedish dishes such as meatballs served with boiled or mashed potatoes, gravy and lingonberry jam.

European Union officials met Monday to discuss tougher food labeling rules after the discovery of horse meat in a wide range of frozen supermarket meals that were supposed to contain beef or pork. So far those foods include meatballs, burgers, kebabs, lasagna, pizza, tortelloni, ravioli, empanadas and meat pies, among other items.

Authorities say the scandal is a case of fraudulent labeling but does not pose a health risk.

Gunnar Dafgard AB, a family-owned frozen foods company in southwestern Sweden that supplies Ikea's meatballs in Europe, posted a brief statement on its website saying "the batch in question has been blocked and we are investigating the situation."

Spokesman Ola Larsson said the company was conducting its own DNA tests and wouldn't comment further until it has those results.

Sweden's food safety authority said it wasn't taking any action but was waiting for Czech authorities to specify the quantity of horsemeat detected.

"If it's less than 1 percent it could mean that they handled horsemeat at the same facility. If it's more, we assess that it's been mixed into the product," said Karin Cerenius of Sweden's National Food Agency.

The Czech authority said a total of 760 kilograms (1,675 pounds) of the meatballs were stopped from reaching the shelves. It also said it found horse meat in beef burgers imported from Poland during random tests of food products.

"Unfortunately, the testing method we use detects just the quality ... the presence or non-presence of horse DNA," said Jan Vana, a senior official at the State Veterinary Administration. "At the moment, we can't say the quantity of it."

Spanish authorities, meanwhile, announced that traces of horse meat were found in a beef cannelloni product by one of the brands of Nestle, a Switzerland-based food giant.

In a statement on its website, Nestle Spain said it was withdrawing six "La Cocinera" products and one "Buitoni" product from store shelves. It said it was taking the action after traces of horse meat were found in beef bought from a supplier in Spain and that it was taking legal action against the company.

Processed food products ? a business segment with traditionally low margins that often leads producers to hunt for the cheapest suppliers ? often contain ingredients from multiple suppliers in different countries, who themselves at times subcontract production to others, making it hard to monitor every link in the production chain.

Standardized DNA checks with meat suppliers or more stringent labeling rules on disclosing the origin of processed food's ingredients will add costs that producers will most likely hand over to consumers, making food more expensive.

The scandal has created a split in the European Union between nations like Britain, which see further rules as a protectionist hindrance of free trade under the 27-nation bloc's single market, and those calling for tougher regulation, including Austria and Germany.

"Consumers have every right to the greatest-possible transparency," German Agriculture Minister Ilse Aigner said.

At the meeting in Brussels, several EU agriculture ministers called upon the Commission, the bloc's executive arm, to speed up presenting a proposal on tougher regulation by this summer.

The scandal began in Ireland in mid-January when the country announced the results of its first-ever DNA tests on beef products. It tested frozen beef burgers taken from store shelves and found that more than a third of brands at five supermarkets contained at least a trace of horse. The sample of one brand sold by the British supermarket kingpin Tesco had more than 25 percent horse meat.

AC Milan's Mario Balotelli silences racial taunts

Associated Press Sports

updated 5:22 p.m. ET Feb. 24, 2013

MILAN (AP) -Mario Balotelli of AC Milan was subjected to racial taunts by fans of his former club Sunday, but he kept his composure and held a finger to his mouth to signal for quiet.

Inter supporters waved inflated bananas and whistled at Balotelli, who is of Ghanian descent. He was facing Inter for the first time since transferring from Manchester City to Milan last month.

He gestured to the fans in the second half of a game that ended 1-1.

Balotelli had three scoring chances, notably a header in which goalkeeper Samir Handanovic made a spectacular save.

"Balotelli did very well not to react to the provocations, I'm just sorry he wasn't able to score," Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri said. "He had a great first half. Let's not forget that he's 22 years old and he was playing against his former squad. It's to be expected that he felt pressure for this match."

Balotelli played for Inter from 2006-10, helping the club to three titles in his final season with the team. He already has four goals for Milan.

The derby ended 1-1.

Nikola Stepić: The Wright/Knightley Trilogy

Anna Karenina, one of last year's most talked-about productions, is a product of a longstanding friendship between a director and his muse.

There is plenty that works in the newest adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's oft-told tale of a woman caught between rigid social norms and a passionate love that fails to transcend them. Joe Wright, the seemingly infallible filmmaking sensation who burst onto the scene in 2005 with his fresh take on Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, delivers a version of Anna Karenina that manages to sidestep that traditional (and dangerously reductive) martyr-whore dilemma. Conscious of the fact that most audiences know exactly where the story, and particularly the main character, is headed, he generously foreshadows Anna's demise by utilizing train imagery throughout the film, creating palpable tension that is so often absent in costume dramas based on literary classics. It also helps that Wright once again trusts his longtime muse Keira Knightley to embody Anna's fervor and petulance.

The relationship between Knightley and Wright harks back to that 2005 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, the movie that cemented the young actress as a bona fide actress after Pirates of the Caribbean made her the rising movie star to look out for, and resulted in an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Elizabeth Bennet. Much of that film's popularity was surely due to the refreshing physicality of the production -- Wright set much of the movie outside, his characters threading through mud and morning mist, conversing in drawing rooms as well as in pigsties. The spectacularly lush cinematography that would become a staple of Wright's, along with wonderful production design, never took away from the gravity and humanness of the characters. The directorial debut was a good indicator of what Wright's career -- particularly his artistic marriage with Knightley -- would become: a visceral, stripped-down vision of glamor and opulence that works in support of the characters and never merely for its own sake. Even at the tender age of 18, Knightley was up for the challenge -- her Elizabeth Bennet embodied both the playful, young spirit of Austen's beloved heroine and her untamed intelligence that breaks through the barriers of normative behavior whenever she is affronted by the sullen Mr. Darcy.

Then came 2007's Atonement, the adaptation of the acclaimed Ian McEwan novel, and the second Wright-Knightley collaboration. Here, three generations of great actresses (Saoirse Ronan, Romola Garai and Vanessa Redgrave) playing the abominable Briony Tallis, one of today's great literary characters, utilized extraordinary tactility. In contrast, Knightley played the enigmatic heroine Cecilia in the most minimal, mythical way possible. All of the agency and quiet determination she had exhibited in Pride and Prejudice was now gone -- her character instead became the embodiment of a muse, the tragic, beautiful creature that Wright got to dress in the most fluid and delicately erotic of costumes, particularly the much-celebrated green dress that has since been called one of the greatest movie costumes of all time.

Which brings us to Anna Karenina, a film that could easily be considered the third part of a Wright-Knightley trilogy. Apart from the collaboration, the film marks the third time Wright is adapting a literary work of great celebrity and acclaim. It feels like a combination of the two movies preceding it. In a featurette released on the film's official YouTube channel, Wright justifiably calls Knigthley "utterly fearless." Indeed, there is a great visceral quality to her Anna, particularly in scenes that call for uninhibited emoting. However, this palpability of affectation is contained in a film of extraordinary fragility -- the decision to set the action on a stage that, throughout the film, morphs and sometimes disappears altogether, only to reappear in the most surprising of scenes, makes the relationship between the characters that much more theatrical and nuanced. The unusual setting not only allows Wright to lay the "all the world's a stage" metaphor quite heavily onto his audiences (and rightly so, for it could be argued that the story would take a fairly different turn if the characters weren't constantly on display, admired and judged in equal measure by the rest of the society), but it also gives a much-needed freshness to the story by framing it as a dazzling dream rather than the hard-hitting drabness that often represents Russia.

Other than Knightley's thoughtful, versatile performance as the volatile Anna, the film boasts other familiar faces. Matthew Macfadyen, Mr. Darcy to Knightley's Elizabeth Bennet, here plays Stiva Oblonsky, Anna's brother, and provides a nice societal contrast -- unlike Anna's, his infidelities go tolerated and unpunished. Aaron Taylor-Johnson infuses the film with a jolt of youthful energy in the role of dashing Alexei Vronsky, playing him as an antithesis to Jude Law's Karenin. Law, in turn, manages to steal the show, adding a layer of humanity to the emotionally barren character in spite of a somewhat flawed Tom Stoppard-penned script that tends to rush the proceedings before the emotional impact has fully registered with the audience. The nuanced performances, coupled with sumptuous costumes and Wright's whimsical and innovative direction, are reason enough to reignite our passion for Anna Karenina, despite the imminent fatality that too passionate a love may result in. Ultimately, it is a platform for Knightley to demonstrate both her commandeering screen presence and acute understanding of the character, complemented by Wright's dazzling spectacle.

Snowplow driver covers up cars and blocks driveways?on purpose

The snowplow driver calling himself Dogg has been ticking off a lot of people.

Mark Hussey, who plows the streets of Lowell, Mass., for a private contractor, made a video of himself as he buried cars in the white stuff and blocked driveways by pushing back the snow shoveled off of them. The worst part: He's loving every minute of it.

The video, which he posted on YouTube, has caught the attention of the winter-weary Web?and confirmed some people?s fears that snowplow drivers make their lives more difficult on purpose, leaving the roads clear, but everyone else pretty much stuck.

Hussey filmed himself through the windshield of his snowplow after a Feb. 10 storm dropped two feet of snow on the area. The local Fox 25 News station interviewed the 47-year-old, whose video showed the joy he took in doing his job just a little too aggressively.

"Oh, I'm sorry, was your car down there?" Dogg is heard at one point as he buries one sedan in snow. "You want to find your car? You come see me, I'll let you know where your car is."

Needless to say, residents are not amused. Al Bedard, who was digging out in Dogg's wake, told the Fox station, "It's very aggravating. You want to throw a shovel at him. It's very aggravating,"

Dogg claims he?s just doing his job, which is to widen the streets. And there's no doubt he enjoys it.

He says on his video, ?If you?re plowing, I know you?re not having as much fun as I am.?

Rumor: Microsoft Expected To Reveal Xbox 720 In April

xbox 360 kinect1 Rumor: Microsoft Expected To Reveal Xbox 720 In April

With Sony?s latest worst-kept secret (the PlayStation 4) now mostly out of the bag, all eyes are turning to Microsoft for an official reveal of their next generation Xbox?(dubbed the Xbox 720). So far, the company has not?officially?confirmed when that announcement will be, however, the industry rumor mill is suggesting that it could come as soon as this April.

According to a CVG report, a ?growing number of [unnamed] developers and other industry professionals? (including some Sony employees) are claiming that Microsoft is planning for an April event. Additionally, one of these mystery video game industry insiders, who is a ?senior Sony official?, stated that the PlayStation 4 reveal had ?at first caught Microsoft off-guard?. That person then added, ?We definitely ruffled some feathers?.

Backing up claims of an incoming Microsoft Xbox 720 showcase event is the February 21, 2013 domain registration of Xboxevent.com?by Eventcore (formally known as U.S. Techs), as discovered by NeoGAF user ?ekim?. The company specializes?in planning and carrying out large scale meetings/events, and is the same partner that Microsoft used for their?E3 2012 media registration and an upcoming?Hosting Summit this May.

Considering Eventcore (U.S. Techs) only registers domains for events they are working with, the new Xboxevent site would indicate that a Microsoft media briefing on the Xbox 720 is coming sooner rather than later.

This also just makes common sense, as there have been no indications that Microsoft is intending to sit back and let Sony and Nintendo run away with the next generation console race ? not to mention the countless rumors that have all pointing towards a 2013 launch for the unannounced Xbox 720.

We will keep an eye out for any official confirmation by Microsoft of an upcoming Xbox 720 reveal event, and let you know as soon as they give the high sign. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts on what the company needs to do during such an event to keep ahead of Sony?s PlayStation 4 debut.

PS4 won?t solve Sony?s wider problem, say analysts

The city remains largely unimpressed by Sony?s prospects as an investment after this week?s PS4 announcements.

Seeking Alpha?advised its readers against buying Sony shares, saying: ?What investors really need to consider is what they are getting when they purchase a share of Sony. A very poor balance sheet, and a chain of losses reveal that not even the PS4 can stop Sony?s slow decline.?

?Even though the PS4 could be a huge hit for Sony, the company?s poor financials and large exposure to interest rates should deter investors away. There is also much more information the company plans to unveil on the PS4, and investors should also wait until they hear about the new Xbox.?

Bloomberg?s?report noted: ?The PlayStation 4 makes its debut amid an industry shift toward mobile play on smartphones and tablets, raising the question of whether gamers will shell out several hundred dollars for a new device.?

It also quoted BGC Partners? Amir Anvarzadeh as saying: ?This enhanced PlayStation experience is simply not revolutionary to overcome big disruptions facing the industry. Sony?s heavy emphasis on the social aspect of PS4 seems a bit too ambitious to deliver on.??The new console ?is unlikely to deliver sufficient cash flow to turn around the company?s credit profile,? added a Fitch Ratings report.

?It?s unlikely that PS4 will boost Sony?s sales and profit in the long term,? Ichiyoshi Asset Management?s Mitsushige Akino told Bloomberg. ?Only core gamers buy game consoles like the PS4.?

Speaking to Reuters, Inside Network Research analyst Billy Pidgeon added: ?[PS4] looks good and had a lot of great games but the industry is different now. It?ll be a slow burn and not heavy uptake right away.?

APNewsBreak: National park cuts detailed in memo

(AP) ? The towering giant sequoias at Yosemite National Park would go unprotected from visitors who might trample their shallow roots. At Cape Cod National Seashore, large sections of the Great Beach would close to keep eggs from being destroyed if natural resource managers are cut.

Gettysburg would decrease by one-fifth the number of school children who learn about the historic battle that was a turning point in the Civil War.

As America's financial clock ticks toward a so-called sequester that would cut funding to countless government agencies, The Associated Press has obtained a National Park Service memo that compiles a list of potential effects at the country's most beautiful and historic places.

"We're planning for this to happen and hoping that it doesn't," said National Park spokesman Jeffrey Olson, who confirmed that the list is authentic and represents cuts the department is considering.

Most of the Park Service's $2.9 billion budget is for permanent spending such as staff salaries, fuel, utilities and rent payments. Superintendents have about 10 percent of their budgets for discretionary spending for things ranging from interpretive programs to historic-artifact maintenance to trail repair, and would lose half of that to the 5 percent cuts.

Employees would be furloughed for more than a month.

Park Service Director John Jarvis last month asked superintendents to show by Feb. 11 how they would absorb the funding cuts. The memo includes some of those decisions.

"We remain hopeful that Congress is able to avoid these cuts," said Olson.

One in five international tourists visits one of America's 398 national parks, research shows, and the parks are one-third of the top 25 domestic travel destinations. If the cuts go though, the memo shows national parks will notice fewer services, shorter hours and the placing of some sensitive areas completely off-limits to visitors when there isn't enough staff to protect resources.

Programs on the chopping block include invasive species eradication in Yosemite, student education at Gettysburg, and comfort stations on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Mississippi.

Netanyahu, Rubio in water-bottle toast to U.S., Israel ties

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu toasted their nations' close ties on Wednesday with a click of plastic water bottles reminiscent of the Republican's sip seen 'round the world in Washington last week.

Photographers captured the cross-table gesture in Netanyahu's office moments after Rubio remarked how Israel resides "in a challenging neighborhood," and he was "pleased" President Barack Obama would be visiting Israel next month.

"Certainly our commitment to that partnership is bipartisan and it should remain that way," Rubio said, adding how he felt Israeli-US ties were "one of the most important ones we have".

Rubio famously interrupted his delivery of the official Republican response to Obama's State of the Union address on February 12 to take a swig of water from a plastic bottle, video of which went viral across the Internet.

Netanyahu had his own brush with embarrassment this past week with Israeli newspaper reports that his family had spent several thousand dollars in the past year on gourmet ice cream.

Rubio, 41, from Florida was an active campaigner for Mitt Romney's failed bid to unseat Obama in November. Netanyahu also made little secret of having backed Romney, having had strained ties with Obama over Middle East policy differences.

Netanyahu said, though, in response to Rubio's comments on Obama's impending visit that "we look forward to receiving him".
